Digital Supply Chain Synchronization
and Operational Innovation create strategic growth advantage - yet most are behind
Supply chain synchronization is no longer a long-term goal—more than half of C-level executives (57%) and supply chain leaders (51%) report their companies are actively working toward full digital supply chain synchronization. However, 81% of companies haven’t fully synchronized their supply chains and delayed digital transformation is leading to lost revenue.
Failure to invest in operational innovation is a competitive risk with consequences for the top line—53% of executives cite increased production disruptions and delays as the biggest risk of delaying supply chain innovation, and 53% of supply chain leaders cite lost revenue as a key risk.
AI and Machine Learning will improve supply chain reliability and seen as essential for predicting and preventing disruptions
Half of supply chain leaders (50%) see investing in AI and machine learning as one of the most effective ways to improve supply chain reliability, and about half of companies expect ROI on AI investments in the next couple of years.
Almost unanimously - 92% of executives, 100% of supply chain leaders - there’s agreement that AI-driven insights for company supply chains are essential for predicting and preventing disruptions in those supply chains.
